Electronic Marketing
Electronic marketing is a form of marketing that involves the use of the Internet. Everything – from promoting and advertising to ordering and payment arrangements – are all done via the World Wide Web. Electronic marketing has greatly contributed to the convenience of consumers, allowing them to purchase commodities without even leaving their homes. On the merchant side, it is more cost effective as compared to many other marketing options.

E-marketing
Maintaining a website and promoting through the Internet is much cheaper than the alternative of having an actual store and handing out pamphlets or media advertising. It has also led to the prevention of monopolies on goods and services offered by more well-known businesses, thereby producing cheaper product prices and providing a wider selection of goods. However, there have also been some undesirable consequences. One of them is the loss of customer security and privacy, as some vital information about the customer may come into the hands of unscrupulous hackers, resulting in identity theft and credit card frauds.
