Single Shot Advertising
This type of advertising is ineffectual as it is concerned only of attracting new customers, not retaining old ones for repeat or future sales. They devote most of their advertising and information dissemination toward people who have not yet been introduced to their product. Those that were already informed are no longer followed-up.

Ineffectual ads
This is the wrong way to advertise, as not every person who is introduced to a product gets interested in it the first time around. It usually takes them a couple of follow-ups and some convincing before converting from being prospects to customers. As for the old customers, periodically contacting them with new offers can get you a sale, as it is much easier to convince them than fresh prospects.
