Every brand seeks to target a specific market; be it the youth or the aged, the professionals or the fashion conscious, the big spenders or the budget constrained. Every brand has its own set of patrons, and products or services are moulded to fit their specific needs and wants.

The reason for this is simple. Since no single product can satisfy everyone, it is best to make a product satisfy a specific group instead. Through this, a certain brand can perfectly cater to a certain market and create an identity that uniquely separates it from the rest.
